1. Si — Leading Function: Comfort

ISFp’s main strength is a refined perception of bodily and sensory experience. They know how to create and maintain comfort, harmony, and a pleasant atmosphere around them. They respond sensitively to details such as light, smells, tastes, and textures. It is important to them that the people nearby feel comfortable and calm.

2. Fe — Creative Function: Emotions

ISFp knows how to lift other people’s mood, soften conflicts, and create a friendly emotional background. They may use gentle humor, offer warm encouragement, and spread their calm and positive attitude. This Function helps them harmonize communication.

3. Ni — Role Function: Time

ISFp tries to be farsighted and take into account what needs to be done and when, but this requires effort. They may try to plan and think about the future in order to meet expectations, but they do not feel confident in strategic forecasting.

4. Te — Vulnerable Function: Practicality

This is a weak area. ISFp finds it difficult to be objectively businesslike, evaluate efficiency, make quick rational decisions, and calculate practical benefit. Excessive pressure and demands to act faster and more productively can be very tiring and even hurtful.

5. Ne — Suggestive Function: Possibilities

ISFp values people who help them see new ideas, alternatives, and perspectives. They enjoy being shown that life is full of unexpected and interesting possibilities. This inspires and energizes them.

6. Ti — Activating Function: Structure

ISFp becomes more engaged and confident around people who can explain how things work, structure information, and reason calmly. Such communication makes it easier for them to bring order to their thoughts.

7. Se — Limiting Function: Force

ISFp can gently restrain excessive pressure and aggression from others. They dislike harsh force and try to balance the atmosphere. They may calmly but firmly stop attempts to dominate.

8. Fi — Background Function: Relations

ISFp naturally and unobtrusively understands how people relate to one another and knows how to be tactful and friendly. This works in the background: they do not focus on analyzing relationships, but they sensitively understand the ethics of interaction and try not to disturb harmony.
