1. Ti — Leading Function: Structure

INTj’s main strength is the ability to understand the logic, laws, and principles by which systems are organized. They build coherent concepts, classifications, and frameworks. It is important to them that everything is internally consistent and logically justified. They think analytically and deeply.

2. Ne — Creative Function: Possibilities

INTj can see many alternatives and possible directions in which ideas may develop. They can propose unconventional solutions and consider a situation from different angles. This Function complements their logic: it helps them avoid becoming stuck in a single framework and remain flexible in seeing new possibilities.

3. Fi — Role Function: Relations

INTj tries to be tactful and take relationships between people into account, but does so as a social requirement. These matters do not come naturally or bring pleasure; they may behave ethically more from a sense of duty and a wish to meet accepted norms.

4. Se — Vulnerable Function: Force

This is a weak area. INTj dislikes pressure, forcefulness, and direct struggles for power. They find it difficult to impose their will, be decisive, and act quickly in conflict situations. Excessive harshness and aggression from others can be deeply hurtful.

5. Fe — Suggestive Function: Emotions

INTj appreciates it when someone creates a lively and emotionally warm atmosphere. They are drawn to people who can inspire, lift the mood, and spread positive energy. Emotional support helps them open up.

6. Si — Activating Function: Comfort

INTj becomes more engaged around people who care about comfort, know how to create a cozy environment, and attend to everyday details. With the help of such people, they become more aware of their bodily needs, rest, and relax.

7. Te — Limiting Function: Practicality

INTj can restrain excessive practicality and businesslike haste in others. For them, it is more important that actions be logically justified than that they simply “work.” They may criticize active doing for its own sake when there is no understanding of the underlying meaning.

8. Ni — Background Function: Time

INTj naturally senses the flow of time, can make forecasts, and can reason about long-term perspectives. They do not emphasize this ability: it remains in the background and helps them build their concepts and reasoning logically.
