1. Se — Leading Function: Force

ESTP’s main strength is confident and active influence on the world. They know how to take responsibility, act assertively and firmly, achieve their goals, and mobilize resources and people. They are a natural leader who senses power and space and knows how to keep a situation under control.

2. Ti — Creative Function: Structure

ESTP does not rely on force alone: they can build clear systems and frameworks so that their actions are logically justified. This Function helps them organize processes, establish order, and set rules so that management is effective.

3. Ne — Role Function: Possibilities

ESTP tries to take alternatives and new ideas into account, but does so mainly because it is expected. They may listen to other people’s options, but are not especially drawn to fantasies and hypotheses themselves. For them, this is a somewhat tense role.

4. Fi — Vulnerable Function: Relations

This is the weakest and most sensitive area. ESTP finds it difficult to understand subtle shades of personal relationships, likes, and dislikes. They may appear overly direct without noticing how they affect other people’s feelings. The task and the goal may matter more to them than emotional nuances.

5. Ni — Suggestive Function: Time

ESTP appreciates having someone nearby who helps them see distant perspectives, forecast the future, and avoid unnecessary haste. Such people help them consider not only the immediate situation but also the long term.

6. Fe — Activating Function: Emotions

ESTP becomes more energized around people who can create emotional uplift, inspire others, and energize a team. Such communication helps them become a brighter and more charismatic leader.

7. Si — Limiting Function: Comfort

ESTP can be critical of excessive attention to comfort, enjoyment, and small details. They believe one should not relax when there is a goal to achieve. They may gently stop discussions about everyday comfort and pleasure because they consider them unimportant.

8. Te — Background Function: Practicality

ESTP naturally and calmly uses practical logic: they work with facts and results and can organize a process so that it functions and produces a return. This is not the center of their personality, but a reliable background that supports their actions.
