1. Ne — Leading Function: Possibilities

ENTP’s main strength is seeing a wide range of possibilities, perspectives, and unusual ideas. They enthusiastically explore new opportunities, develop unconventional approaches and hypotheses, and become inspired by new projects and discoveries. To them, the world is an endless field for experimentation and the search for something new.

2. Ti — Creative Function: Structure

ENTP can structure ideas and build theories and concepts. This Function helps them organize their ideas into logical frameworks and doctrines and explain how something works. They are not merely imaginative: they want their ideas to have a clear and logical foundation.

3. Se — Role Function: Force

ENTP may find it difficult to act firmly and assertively. However, they try to do so because they understand that sometimes they need to exercise willpower. This often feels awkward and quickly becomes tiring. Firmness requires effort and may appear somewhat unnatural.

4. Fi — Vulnerable Function: Relations

This is the weakest and most sensitive area. ENTP finds it difficult to understand personal relationships, sense the boundaries between people, and distinguish subtle shades of liking and disliking. They may appear tactless or cold, not because they want to hurt someone, but because they do not naturally sense what is appropriate in this area.

5. Si — Suggestive Function: Comfort

ENTP appreciates it when someone creates an atmosphere of comfort, care, and physical well-being for them. They value people who know how to take care of bodily and everyday needs because they may neglect these matters themselves. Such care gives them a sense of security.

6. Fe — Activating Function: Emotions

ENTP becomes more lively and expressive around people who know how to show emotions and shape the atmosphere. They enjoy animated conversations, emotional humor, and communication that fills them with energy. Through such people, they themselves become more expressive.

7. Ni — Limiting Function: Time

ENTP may be critical of people who become overly focused on fate, deadlines, and premonitions. They consider it unnecessary to think excessively about the future, slow down, or wait for the “right moment.” They may gently bring such discussions to an end.

8. Te — Background Function: Practicality

ENTP naturally and calmly uses practical knowledge, facts, and figures when they are needed to support an idea. They can work with facts and evidence, but this is not the center of their world—rather, it serves as a reliable background.
